Elliott, Joyce Katherine
Joyce passed away peacefully at the Welland General Hospital on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at age 84. She is survived by her son Gary (Lynn) Elliott, daughter Kim (Alan) Bishop, grandchildren Jessica Elliott, Peter (Kristen) Elliott, Jason Mattie, Brandon Bishop, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Robert Elliott (2008) and her daughter Shelley Elliott (2018). Joyce was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56. She made many long-lasting friendships and truly enjoyed her time there.
The family is extremely grateful to her granddaughter Jessica, who was not only very special to her, but took very good care of her. Thank you to the Welland General Hospital, especially Dr. Gupta and Nurse Carole for all their kind and professional care.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, with arrangements entrusted to Davidson Funeral Home, 135 Clarence St., Port Colborne. There will be a Celebration of Life, with date to be determined, due to COVID restrictions.
In honour of Joyce, donations can be made to the Port Colborne Feline Initiative (www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/11483). She would like to continue supporting this worthy organization the same as her daughter, Shelley. Online guest register and condolences are available at www.davidsonfuneralhome.com
