1947-2021
It is with heavy hearts that the
family of Joyce Elaine Pike announce her passing on Friday, May 7th,
2021 at Carleton Manor. Born on November 30th, 1947, in Upper
Hainseville, N.B., Joyce was the daughter of the late Sterling and
Lucy (Haines) Morgan and wife of the late Marcus Pike.
Joyce leaves behind her four sons;
Colin (Kim), Woodstock, Darren (Brenda), Nortondale, Trevor
(Jennifer), Hawkins Corner, Jason (Monica), Millville, six
grandchildren; Courtney, Colton (Marissa), Levi, Dakota, Jayden,
Annie, three great grandchildren; Owen, Elsie, and Emery, three
sisters; Wanda Liston, Attleboro, MA, Charlotte Hickey(Arnold),
Temperance Vale, Esther Shaw, Fredericton, three brothers; John
Morgan(Cathy), Donald Morgan(Jeanette), both of Hainseville, Leo
Morgan(Sandra), Keswick Ridge, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents and
husband, Joyce was predeceased by her brother, Clyde Morgan, and two
brothers-in-law, Harold Liston and Albert Shaw.
It brought her great joy making
special memories with her grandkids and her little dog Molly. She also
enjoyed gardening, painting, and helping out her family any way she
could.
As per her wishes, there will be no
service or visitation at this time. A private burial will take place
at a later date. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to the Alzheimer Society or to a memorial of the donor’s
choice.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of
Carleton Manor for the many friendships and great care that was
provided.
