Joseph’s Obituary
NEW GLASGOW – Joseph Patrick “Pat” Tracey, 68, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late David George and Georgina Lillian (MacDonald) Tracey. Pat had been employed in construction for many years. Pat enjoyed riding motorcycles and passed his enthusiasm on to his grandson, Kyle, who he taught to ride bikes. Pat was a loyal friend who “always had your back”, and who always put his family first. He will be dearly missed by those he loved.
Surviving are daughters, Nancy Tracey, New Glasgow; Denver Gunn, British Columbia; grandson, Kyle Tracey, Eureka; sister, Nancy Crosby, New Glasgow; brothers, John Tracey, MacLellan’s Mountain; Billy (Val) Tracey, Springville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Lillian Tye, Joan MacDonald, Joyce Clooney and Yvonne MacDonald; brothers, David and Bobby; several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, his family will honour his life privately.
