Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the age of 80 years.Beloved husband of Marianna for 53 years. Loving father of Sam (Jocelyn Lipata), Marcello (Lina) and Gabriele. Proud Nonno of Joseph, Domenic, Vanessa and Kristine. Dear brother of Anna Iasci (the late Angelo), Antonietta Melatti (Tony) and the late Nicola (Rosa) Di Vincentis. Son-in-law of the late Alfonso and the late Vincenza Milisenda, and dear brother-in-law of the late Charlie Milisenda (Pina), the late Eugene Milisenda (Lella), Ostilia Delle Monache (Elio), Maria Assunta Ball and the late Sam Milisenda (Sandra). Joseph will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 4 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Private Entombment to follow with immediate family only at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time. Please RSVP in advance for the visitation and funeral mass on Joseph’s tribute page at www.smithsfh.com or by calling the Funeral Home between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to a charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
