1948 – 2021
Joseph David McCallum of Kelly’s Special Care Home, formerly of Newcastle, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the age of 73. Born in Chatham, NB, Joseph is the son of the late Clair and Mary (Muzzerall) McCallum.
Joseph is survived by sisters: Carol Lee of Nelson, NB and Rose Campbell (Brian) of Moncton, NB; brother: Eric McCallum (Joanne) of Salisbury, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Joseph is predeceased by sisters: Susan McCallum, Evelyn Sherrard and Veroica Verviski; brothers: James and Ambrose McCallum.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at later time.
As expressions of sympathy, in Joseph’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Messages of condolence for the family can be sent through the funeral home website at www.bellsmeadows.com
