Joseph Daniel Chisholm 1958 2021

Chisholm, Joseph Daniel, age 63, of St. Andrews, Antigonish
County, passed away on November 27, 2021, in St. Martha’s
Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surrounded by his
family.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Louise (Rogers) and the
late John B. Chisholm.
A hardworking man, Joey was an ironworker by trade, but a
jack of all trades, including driving the school bus and
trucking. He loved a game of cards and farming on the family
farm. He enjoyed a good laugh and was generous to a
fault. The whole family found him a source of
strength. You never knew where you might find him, but he
was always there when you needed him.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his children, Danielle
(Brendan) MacDonald, Clydesdale; Darren (Kathleen), Chants Harbour;
and Alicia, Fort McMurray; grandchildren, Daniel, Emily, Lydia,
Catherine, Bridget, and Henry; siblings, Wayne (Brenda), Edmonton;
Darlene (Ronnie), Antigonish; Anne Louise, Texas; Anthony (Laurie),
Linwood; and Louis, St. Andrews; and many nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in
C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11:00am in St. Andrew’s
Church, St. Andrews, Reverend Andrew Gillies presiding.
Valid proof of vaccination is required for both visitation and
funeral, and masks are mandatory.
In appreciation of the wonderful care he received in the
Palliative Care Department, donations to St. Martha’s
Regional Hospital Foundation appreciated.
