Merino, Jose Luis
Suddenly, on Sunday, September 5, 2021 Jose Luis Merino, at the tender age of 79. Faithful, devoted, husband to the love of his life Edith Merino. Proud, loving and caring father of Alonso (Traci) Merino, Norma Merino (Stephen), Dalma Merino (Wilfredo). Adoring, and extremely proud Papa of Maya Merino. Dear brother of Guillermo, Daniel, Sister Milagros, Sister Berta, late Angel, late Irma.
Jose Luis will be sorely missed by his large extended family in El Salvador, Cambridge, Brampton, Windsor, Costa Rica, Panama, Los Angeles and London as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Jose Luis had a love for his wife, children, granddaughter, extended family and friends, the outside, fishing, fixing anything and everything and was an always on the go free spirit. He was very humble and would be the first to lend a hand. No project was ever too big or too small. Jose Luis was there for everyone.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, September 9th from 3-5 and 7-9 o’clock. Registration is required. Visitation will be held in 1/2 hour increments. Please email donohue@donohuefuneralhome.ca with your name, phone number and time preference. Masks are mandatory. A private funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 12 o’clock.
