Obituary of Johnny Joseph Walsh
WALSH, Johnny – Johnny passed away at Bluewater Health surrounded by his children on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the age of 63. Dear father of Derek Walsh, Amanda Walsh and Dan Walsh (April). Proud and loving grandpa to Dreyden and Elijah. Brother of Peter Walsh (late Dianne) and Paul Walsh. Also surviving is the mother of his children Carolyn Kohut. Predeceased by mother Anastasia Walsh, brothers Michael and Kevin (late Denise) and sisters Bernadette LeClerc (Rene) and Madeleine Hayes. Johnny retired from Nova Chemicals as a Major Maintenance Planner in 2020. He was an avid golfer and a very loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He loved spending time with his friends and his dog, Keon. Johnny lived and loved life to the fullest and will be greatly missed. Due to current COVID restrictions a private family funeral service will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. and will be livestreamed (link for livestream to follow). A public service will be held at a later date. Please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory.
