Obituary of John Daniel Gray
We regret to announce the passing of John Gray of Regina on Monday, December 20, 2021 in the Pasqua Hospital. Born November 4, 1953 in Preeceville, Saskatchewan to Norm and Jackie Gray he was the second of four children. John loved making music and played in several local bands. He was an avid car guy and enjoyed restoring his vintage cars. For many years he worked for the family business in Sacramento, California building houses and subdivisions as well as several houses in Emerald Park. John also made a living as a landlord, owning six houses and apartment buildings throughout Regina. He leaves behind his daughter, Carmin and son-in-law Mitch Faye; grandchildren Jacquelin, Casey and Daniel of Regina; his son Evan Rein of Regina; brother Jim Gray of Sacramento, California and sister Sheila Hoyer of Rapid City, South Dakota; aunts Carol Gray of Edmonton, Alberta and Glendine Gray of Regina, Saskatchewan. He will be remembered by many at his favorite hang outs, Shannon’s Pub and the Serb Club. A musical tribute will take place at Shannon’s Pub at 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 26, 2021. A celebration of John’s life will be held in January 2022.
