Obituary
John Desmond Morley Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Malaspina Care Residence, Nanaimo, British Columbia, on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at the age of 93. Loving husband of Cristina Morley (nee JaymeBaol) for 40 years. Beloved father of Karen (Vance) Aaker and Alan (Vilayvanh) Morley. Cherished grandfather of Candace (Billy) Philpitt and great grandfather of Joshua and Justin. Dear brother of Graham C. Morley and the late Eunice Holbrough. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and extended family from Canada, UK, South Africa and the Philippines.
John was born in Birmingham, England and served from 1945-48 in the Royal Navy on HMS Finisterre, emigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1966 where he worked for many years as a government meat inspector and then retired in BC.
