John Alexander Hutchison
1939 – 2021
John Alexander Hutchison of Miramichi, NB, husband of the late Leah Marie (Hachey) Hutchison, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the age of 81. Born in Douglastown, NB the son of the late Alexander and Marion (Wood) Hutchison.
John was a pipefitter by trade and a member of the United Association of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 325. John enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid salmon fisherman.
John is survived by his daughters: Linda Johannesen (Robert) of Miramichi, NB and Paula Hutchison (Mark) of Moncton, NB; sons: Allan Hutchison (Elizabeth) of Russellville, NB and Paul Hutchison (Shelly) of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren: Kyle and Kelly Bourgeois, Kyle and Kori Johannesen, Dylan Wood, Julie and Gary Hutchison; great grandchildren: Leah, Avery, Samia, Lydia, Riley, Giovanni, Isabella, Blaze and Keira; brother: Robert Hutchison (Fern) of Miramichi, NB and sister in law: Ruby Hutchison of Miramichi, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Alexander and Marion and his wife: Leah Marie, John is predeceased by granddaughter: Amy Hutchison and brothers: Charles and Harry Hutchison.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Sunday, August 29 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A graveside service will take place at St. Samuel’s Catholic Cemetery on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM
