Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, June 4, 2021 in his 99th year Son of the late Michael James Jordan and Mary Stella Walsh. Husband of the late June Park and the late Agnes Kennedy. Cherished dad of Rob Jordan (Pam), Julie Jordan (Gerry) and Step-Father of Paul Park (Debbie Wild). Treasured grandpa of Kenneth James Jordan, Madilynn Agnes Harker (Dave), Brittany Elaine Sammut (Tyler) and great grandpa of Callan John Harker. Predeceased by his grandson Liam Jordan. Dear brother of Rosemary Callahan. Predeceased by his siblings Vincent, Rev. Sister Elizabeth, Clair, Theresa Lark, Florence Crawford and Irene Forestell. Jim will be dearly remembered by his sister-in-law Jean Jordan, his many nieces and nephews, the Acosta Family , Julilyn, Charleigh and Cohen. Family and friends will be received at Smith & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 between the hours of 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Read for the immediate family on June 9, 2021. Interment will take place in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Due to COVID restrictions all attendees must RSVP directly to the funeral home through the website or email mjsmithandson@cogeco.net to obtain a time to see the family for the visitation and for the funeral. Mandatory COVID 19 protocols will be in effect, including physical distancing outside and inside the funeral home and face masks are required.
