Raithby, Jewell Isabel
Peacefully passed at her home, surrounded by her loving family on June 4th, 2021 in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late William Raithby (1997). Loving mother of Bill Raithby and the late Mary Veltman (1991) and survived by her son-in-law John Veltman. Proud grandma of John (Kathryn) Veltman, Bill Veltman and Mark Veltman, Larry, Donna Willie, Karen Willie, and William Willie. Cherished great-grandmother of 21 great-grandchildren. Jewell will be sadly missed and remembered by her dearest friend Marianne Kingma. Jewell also will be missed by her extended family.
Jewell was a very involved and active dedicated member at the First Baptist Church, Strathroy, her entire life. Her generosity, kindness and care will never be forgotten.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the V.O.N and the palliative care team for all their care and compassion of Jewell.
A private family service will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
