Jessi Elizabeth Dillon
May 12, 1990 – July 28, 2021
It is with bittersweet emotions that we announce the passing of our daughter Jessi.
Cherished daughter of Leslie and Gary Dillon. Much loved granddaughter of Carol Plater (late Gary Plater) and the late Frank and Millie Dillon. Niece of Laurie Plater and Sunil Bhandari (Tej, Clarke, Chloe, Logan), Allyson Plater and Charlie Kenny (Lily, Jasmin, Christina, Joshua), Pat Dillon and Denise Semak (Krista, Kyle), Brent and Fran Dillon (Megan).
Jessi was born to be a ‘teacher and a fighter’ and she did so bravely for 31 years. She taught us about patience, acceptance and the true meaning of love.
They say ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ and we want to say thank you to our very large ‘village’. If you have watched, loved or care for Jessi, we say thank you.
In lieu of flowers, if you so wish, please consider donations to Bayhaven Nursing Home (her home for the last 10 years), Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, or Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House where she passed away with dignity and amazing care.

I had the honour and privilege of knowing Jessi for the last 4 years. She was a spectacular person, just like her parents. Jessi and her parents had a pure, amazing, and joyful love. Jessi had an extra special way of being Jessi around her parents, and I am lucky to have seen that.
Jessi will be dearly missed. My deepest sympathies to you, Leslie and Gary, as you travel this difficult and heartbreaking road.
