On Friday, November 19, 2021, Jeffrey (Jeff) Alvar Johnson, of Edmonton, Alberta passed away suddenly at the age of 43.
He is survived by his mother, Colleen of St. Albert, brother, Keith of Edmonton as well as family and friends in B.C. and Alberta.
Jeff was predeceased by his father Terry Johnson in 1998.
Jeff was born November 12, 1978, in Tofino, B.C. and grew up in B.C. before moving to Edmonton in 2002.
Jeff suffered from mental illness, drug addiction and homelessness over his lifetime. Despite those hardships throughout his adult life, he tried to maintain contact with family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards, gambling, and watching sports, especially baseball.
The family would like to thank Alberta Hospital, Boyle Street, The Mustard Seed, Salvation Army, Mental Health and Addictions for all their support of Jeff over the years.
