Obituary of Jean Louise Langille
LANGILLE, Jean Louise- formally of Milford Station, passed away December 15, 2021, at Wynn Park Villa, Truro, due to complications from dementia. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ella (Zwicker)Young.
Mom was a lifelong member of the United Church of Canada and attended church services up to the time of her death.
Jean is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Nancy), Shubenacadie; and David (Gail), Milford Station; Five grandchildren, Robert (Sue), Craig, all of Shubenacadie; Brian (Susan), Charlottetown; Rhonda (Gabe) Bourque, Oromocto; Brent (Sulgi), Montreal; six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy MacCarthy, Terrace, BC; and sister in-law, Iva Eldridge, Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Mom was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 70 years, Russell; brothers, Malcolm and Howard; several brother and sister in-laws.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Due to COVID, a family committal will take place at a later date.
Our family wish to thank the entire staff at Wynn Park Villa for the exceptional service they gave to mom during her stay there and especially the palliative care staff who cared for mom at the end and let her pass peacefully,
