Jean Lang Bloom Nee MacMillan 2021

Welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Monday October 18th with her children by her side.
Jean will be dearly missed by her loving children, Steve (Gwen), Janice, Mike (Lynn), Lorie, Linda, Susan (Paul), Darlene, 13 grandchildren; Josh (Lauren), Courtney (Adam), Amy (Dan), Jason (Amber), Joel, Cory, Nicole (Sawyer), Matthew (Samantha), Ryan, Rachael (Andrew), Nick, Jordan, and Emily, 3 great grandchildren; Mackenzie, Ezra, and Norah and 2 great grandchildren on the way.
Born in Toronto on February 5, 1935 to Andrew and Violet Macmillan from Scotland.
Predeceased by her husband Everest Pond February 2020.
Mom loved her family fiercely and always made birthdays and Christmas special for all of us. She is a treasure we will all hold dear in our hearts forever.
Jean was warm, outgoing, and made friends easily. She was adored by many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Church on the Hill in Cobourg, Ontario on Saturday October 23rd, at 11:30 am, followed by the service at 1 pm. A family internment to be held at 3pm at Union Cemetery.
Special thanks to Dr E Smith and Ed’s House for their care and support for our mother.
The service will be live streamed by Church on the Hill.
Donations to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre in lieu of flowers are appreciated.
