Janet Alfhild Syms
(June 4, 1930 – September 12, 2021)
Janet Alfhild Syms of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Freemont, California, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of 91 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister Sylvia Lechelt of Mayerthorpe; sister-in-law Hazel Naslund; nephew Tim Grahn (John Chwyl) of Westerose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was predeceased by her husband John Syms; five brothers; one sister; parents Johan and Hilder Naslund; and parents-in-law Evan and Evalyn Syms.
No formal service will be held.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Janet’s memory may be made to Wilhelmina Lutheran Church, or to the charity of one’s choice.
