James Norman Rhynold
1941-2021
Rhynold, James Norman Age 80 of
Stormont, Guysborough Co., passed away peacefully, in St.
Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke, on Friday, May 21,
2021. Born in Little Dover, he was a son of the late Herman and Agnes
(Rhynold) Rhynold. Jim enjoyed playing cards, darts and visits with
friends. He worked at Salsman Park, Bickerton Industries; for the last
35 years he and Mary owned James Rhynold Convenience Store.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Jones), sons, Jimmy
(Beth), Woodstock, New Brunswick; Brent, Kentville, 4
grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Patrick (Flossie),
Whitehead; Herman, Antigonish; Stan (Nancy), Ontario; many nieces,
nephews and their families. He was predeceased by brother, Harry;
sisters, Patricia, Edna, Mary, and Violet. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to Carma Cat Rescue. Due to Covid-19
travel restrictions, a graveside service will be held at a later date
in Stormont Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and
compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, 17545 Highway 316,
