James Campbell of Ste. Rose du Lac passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 72 years.
A time of viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM in the Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Rose du Lac. Family and friends are welcome to come spend some time with James, to say a prayer for him and say goodbye.
Fr. Patrick Neufeld will lead prayers at 7:00 PM
One of James’ request was to be taken for a final ride to Mallard. This will take place on Monday, April 12th. Anyone wishing to follow the hearse to Mallard are asked to meet at the Waterhen corner at 12:30 pm to follow James home to Mallard. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Skownan First Nation Hall, Skownan, MB. Fr. Jorge Mante will celebrate the mass with interment following in the Skownan RC Parish Cemetery.
Due to Covid19 gathering restrictions, both the prayer and funeral services are limited to 25 people. The prayer service and funeral service will be livestreamed from Sneath-Strilchuk’s Facebook page. You do not require a Facebook account to participate and may access the service at service time by clicking on the Facebook icon on the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services website homepage.
