It is with great sadness that the family of Jacqueline Sheppard announce her passing on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 70. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 50 years, George Sheppard, Children; Terry (Denise), Linda (Jason), Amanda (Dallas); grandchildren: Whitney (Richard), Patrick (Morgan), Mason, Brooklyn, Tiffany, Faith, Brody; great-grandchildren: George, Milo, Charlie; sisters and brothers: Mary-Ellen (Derek), Kate, Edith (Fred), Carolyn, Donna, Wilfred (Leah), Reg (Elaine), Fred (June), Tony (Cindy), Alex; brothers and sisters-In-law; Moses, Linda, Lee (Rowena), Marie, as well as a large circle of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents John and Jessie Stickland, children John and Carolyn, brothers and sisters Bennie, Jimmy, Una and Ruby (Tom), parents-in-law Richard and Olive Sheppard, brothers and sisters-law; Guy, Sharon, Lloyd, Eric and Beulah (Harry).
Due to Covid-19 Government restrictions a private visitation will be held by invitation only at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Monday, June 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. to a maximun of 50 people. A private funeral service will be held by invitation only at St. James Anglican Church on Tuesday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Effie Organ officiating to a maximum of 100 people, face masks and social distancing required. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Lark Harbour.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the St. James Anglican Memorial Fund.
