Peacefully on Sunday April 18, 2021 Istavan (Steve) Polusa 89 of Pinewood, Ontario passed away at the Rainy River Hospital.
Steve was born on September 21, 1931 in Hungary. He immigrated to Canada in 1959, settling in the Mount Forest area where he farmed until retirement.
Steve enjoyed dancing, where he met Doris Caughlin, and together they traveled many places together including a trip to Alaska. In 1991 they settled in Pinewood, Ontario. They enjoyed going to the old time dances in Emo and Baudette.
He is survived by his wife Doris and numerous extended family members. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Our Lady of the Way Catholic Cemetery, Pinewood, Ontario.
