Obituary of Iris Delorme (nee Hildebrand)
Peacefully, in Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec on June 9, 2021 in her 96th year, Iris Delorme, beloved wife of the late Melvin Delorme. Loving mother of Judy (Joe Morris), Darlene (late Rick Allen) and Debby (Bob Johnston) and predeceased by daughter Joan (Mike Martin). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Dear sister of Morgan Hildebrand (late Irma). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Iris was active for many years in the Starks Corners United Church, Women’s Institute and the United Church Auxiliary. She enjoyed the company of her pet dogs and birds and adored her grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at Starks Corners Community Cemetery. Donations to the Pontiac Reception Centre Foundation or Starks Corners United Church would be appreciated.
