La famille Allard a le regret de vous annoncer son décès survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le lundi, 16 août, 2021 à l’âge de 84 ans. Fille de feu Ernest Lafond et de feu Lina Lafond (née Aubin). Épouse de Gilles Allard. Mère de Denise Allard et Michelle Parent (Christian). Prédécédée par sa fille Gisèle Allard et son petit-fils Michel Plante. Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses 10 petits-enfants et ses 11 arrière-petits-enfants. Prédécédée par ses frères et soeur Joseph Lafond, Gérard Lafond, Clément Lafond, Fernand Lafond, Jeannette Lafond et Simon Lafond. La famille tient à remercier le personnel de soins de longue durée de l’Hôpital Général du Nipissing Ouest pour les excellents soins prodigués. Irène était une femme dévouée à sa famille et avait un rire contagieux. Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au salon funéraire Theoret Bourgeois, Sturgeon Falls. La messe funéraire sera célébrée le samedi, 4 septembre 2021 à l’église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, Field à 11h00. The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, on Monday, August 16th, 2021, at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late Ernest Lafond and of the late Lina Lafond (née Aubin). Wife of Gilles Allard. Mother of Denise Allard and Michelle Parent (Christian). Predeceased by her daughter Gisèle Allard and her grandson Michel Plante. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Joseph Lafond, Gérard Lafond, Clément Lafond, Fernand Lafond, Jeannette Lafond and Simon Lafond. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff in the long-term care ward at the West Nipissing General Hospital for the excellent care provided. Irène was devoted to her family and possessed a contagious laugh. Cremation arrangements in care of the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church in Field at 11h00. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
