Obituary of Hilda Rottmar
Hildegard “Hilda” Josephina Rottmar
(August 4, 1933 – May 13, 2021)
Hildegard “Hilda” Josephina Rottmar of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Provost, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Joe; children Joseph (LeAnn) Kloster of Red Deer, Theresa Fossen of Sherwood Park, Wanda (Bob) Rutberg of Okotoks, Joette (Tim) Walsh of Leduc, and Dean Rottmar of Edmonton; daughter-in-law Linda Kloster of Calgary; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother.
Hilda was predeceased by her parents Alex and Elizabeth Rolheister; first husband Adam Kloster; so Norbert Kloster; son-in-law Dean Fossen; two brothers; and one sister.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM May 20, 2021 from the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Joby Augustin officiating. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church website stfxcamrose.caedm.ca and a recording of the funeral mass will be available following the service on the St. Francis Xavier Church website under “Recorded Masses”. Interment will take place in the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Hilda’s memory may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute , the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute , or to the St. Francis Building Fund.
