Hilda Wilson
1931-2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the
passing of Hilda Jean Wilson, 89 of Little River, Albert County on
Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Pollett River, she was the daughter of the
late John and Cora (Stewart) Kaye. Hilda was a retired
Pastry Chef at “The Pastry Shop” and she was member of the
former Pollett River Baptist Church. She enjoyed country music,
cooking and especially family gatherings. Hilda was known to
many as the best “fudge lady”.
She is survived and sadly missed by her daughters
Judith (Judy) Wilson, Moncton and Janice Wilson-LeBlanc (Raymond) with
whom Hilda resided; son John Wilson (Lee) of Pictou County, NS;
grandchildren Jeremy Wilson (Lauren), Campinas, Brazil and Joshua
Wilson (Amanda), Pictou County, NS; great granddaughter Selena, Pictou
County, NS; several nieces and nephews and also survived by many grand
fur babies. Hilda was the last surviving member of her immediate
family. Predeceased by her husband Stewart Wilson; sisters Myrtle
Douthwright, Lois Thorne, Mary McIvor, Mildred Kay and Ena Collier and
brothers Weston and Owen Kay.

Unit at the Moncton Hospital for the exceptional care of our
Mother.
Resting at Armstrong’s Funeral Chapel, 34 Russell
Street (756-3361) visiting will be Saturday, July 31 from 2 to 5 pm
and from where the funeral will be held Sunday, August 1 at 2 pm.
Interment will be at Wilson Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to the Wilson
Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
