It is with heavy hearts that the family of Herbert Shantz of Lac La Biche, Alberta announce his passing on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Herbert is lovingly survived by his wife: Sandra Shantz; children: Wendy (Rick) Charles, Kim (Ryan) Charles, Ryan (Kayla) Boucher, Falon (Justin) Boucher, Jade Mountain, Tyson Boucher; grandchildren: Alicia, Letiacia, Ashlyn, Ryman, Alana, Ryan, Billie, Chloe, Morgan, Carmen, Kendell, Kigan; brother: Allan (Susan) Shantz; sister: Lou Chizek; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
Herbert was predeceased by his parents: Jessie & Allan; son: Eddie; brothers: Edwin, Lee, Ian; sister: Mary.
Honorary Pallbearers: All 12 of his grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Ryan Boucher, Ryan Charles, Nathan Quintal, Ryan Shantz, Chad Desjarlais, Rick Charles.
One night Wake, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Owl River Hall in Owl River, Alberta.
Funeral Service, Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
