Dirk Hendrik ‘Henry’ Teune of Holland Christian Homes, Brampton, and formerly of Harriston passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 in his 93rd year.
Husband of Diane (Van Der Lei) Teune.
Father of John and Kathy Teune of Caledon East, Jim and Teresa Teune of R.R. 3, Clifford, Elisabeth and Art Rekker of Brampton, and Harold and C.J. Teune of Kitchener.
Grandfather of Michael and Karen Teune, Jamie and Elizabeth Teune, Kyle and Kristen Teune, Trevor and Amanda Teune, Kevin Teune and his fiancé Shaelyn, Tara Teune, Aaron Rekker, Ryen Rekker, Nicole Rekker, Natalie Rekker, Jacob Madsen, Noah Teune, and Zachary Teune; and great-grandfather of Cole, Paige, Robyn, Benjamin, Madison, and Raelynn.
Brother of Elizabeth Solie of Holland, Annie and Jo Van Staveren of St. Albert, AB, and Wim and Willie Teune of Holland; and brother-in-law of Jannie Teune of Holland, Sylvie VanderLei of Abbotsford, BC, and Hilda and Jack Seitz of Elora.
Predeceased by brothers Gerrit ‘Jan’ Teune and his wife Jannie, Gerrit Teune and his wife Dien, Peter Teune and his wife Anna, Bertus Teune and his wife Johanna, and Albert Teune.
Visitation will be held at the Palmerston Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, August 5th from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. The service will be live-streamed and the link available here shortly.
Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Grace Manor, Brampton would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston
