July 30, 1971 ~ May 23, 2021
On May 23, 2021, our beautiful daughter took Jesus’ hand and went home.
She leaves behind her loving parents Herb and Noreen Kern, brother Dan and sister Kathy Schmautz along with her two nieces Haylee and Madison Schmautz; aunt Lilly Rosentreter, Uncle Ron and Aunt Shirley Watson and many cousins.
She was predeceased by brother-in-law Darren Schmautz, grandparents Charles and Grace Watson & Carl and Martha Kern & Uncle Ed Kern.
Her wonderful sense of humor, friendly presence and compassion as a nurse will remain with those fortunate to know her. With ear to ear smiles and big hugs, she made an impact on everyone she met.
Special thanks to Heather’s special nurses Jan Williams, Kim Witt and Heidi Schollenberg, special friends Erin Day and Kathy Jones who all took very good care of her in her final days.
