Harry Cuff July 16th 2021

Surrounded by family in his home, as was his wish, Harry Cuff passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the age of 84, just 13 days following a cancer diagnosis.
Harry was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Ella Cuff and infant sister, Nellie. His memory will be cherished by: his wife, Juanita; children, Brian (Dale), Laurie (Dion) and Robin; siblings, Gary (Ruby), Tony (Melva) and Lillian (Bill) ; grandchildren, Courtney ,Brittany, Samantha and Elina; great grandchildren, Brianna and Ethan; brother-in-law, Robert; aunt, Phyllis; spouses and partners of his children and grandchildren, cousins and many friends.
Born in Bonavista on September 12, 1936, Harry left home at age 16, moved to Toronto and was eventually reunited with a childhood friend from Bonavista, Juanita Saint, whom he married. Together, they moved back to Bonavista in 1969 and then to Mount Pearl in 1997, where he lived until his passing.
Harry’s life was marked by dedication to family, a strong work ethic, courage, bravery and a contagious sense of fun. Harry enjoyed an active retirement, including being a fabulous pop to his 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who lived nearby. He loved telling stories and jokes, dancing, singing, experimenting in his greenhouse, trout fishing, bargain hunting at yard sales and thrift stores, driving the car, playing cards with friends, travelling, watching game shows, spending winters in Florida, various fellowship activities at the Salvation Army corps in St. John’s and Florida and, of course, his daily Tim’s coffee.
Harry was brave and determined and, though very ill, he remained alert, able to interact with his family and even smile to the end. He also continued to put his concerns for his family’s well-being ahead of his own throughout his last days.
The Cuff family would like to express gratitude to the many friends and extended family who have supported them through this journey. Calls, visits, prayers, messages, thoughtful gifts and kind words of support have all been so very much appreciated. Now he is at rest and we are blessed with wonderful memories of a loyal and protective husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, family member and friend.
