Peacefully at Wellington Terrace on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Violet Belrose (2019). Dear father of Tim (2007), Dean (Jane) and Ginny Anderson (Drew). Cherished grandfather of Lisa (John), Mike (2014), Scott (Liz), Corey, Tyler, Tanner (Mikayla) and Jessica. Loving great-grandfather of Phoenix and Violet. Remembered by his brother Gord (Joan) sisters, Linda (Butch) and Susan. Sadly missed by his dear friends Jim (2006) and Dairdre. Harold will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday September 30, 2021 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. RSVP IS REQUIRED.
Private Family Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021. Interment to follow at Horning’s Mills Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Harold in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
