With great sadness we announce the passing of Hari Singh on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021. He was surrounded by his family and passed without pain. Although his condition accelerated rapidly, each day was filled with love, hugs, and stories about the best memories. Hari was a father of two boys, a dear brother, the cool uncle, and a cherished friend. Hari will be remembered and honoured in many ways. He leaves his grandchildren the memory of a loving grandfather and an example of someone who took time to enjoy the simple things. To his siblings, he leaves the memory of a strong man who valued each moment he spent with them and as someone who was willing to trying something once. To his friends, he leaves behind a memory of a big hearted sports fan who was known to love the Steelers, and was always ready to laugh. To his sons, he leaves the memory of being a simple man who would take a Maple Leaf’s jersey over a suit and tie and hot chicken wings over a steakhouse to celebrate. With every role he played, he was honoured to have these relationships. To all of us who knew him, we will remember the camping trips, his laugh, ice cold Brava beers, his jokes at work, and his sense of humour accompanied by that big smile. God called him too early and we will all miss him. His family will do what they can to contribute to the research of CJD Disease to ensure the impacts of this are lessened.
