Obituary of Gregory Edward Forward
FORWARD, Gregory Edward – The family of Gregory Edward Forward are saddened to announce his sudden passing at home on June 5, 2021. Born in Lunenburg on November 7, 1971, he was a son of the late Raymond and Melissa (Wheeler) Forward.
Greg aka, “Bumper” started his working career at the IGA and Save Easy where he stayed for several years making friends with customers and his co-workers. Greg then moved on to work for Bonny Lea Farm as a maintenance man where he worked until the time of his passing. Greg was dedicated to his AA meetings where he would share stories, be an ear to listen, or a shoulder to cry on for his fellow members or for anyone who needed him for that matter. He loved his friends and his family and never passed up a good laugh to cheer someone up.
Greg leaves to mourn his brothers, Paul (Debbie) of Cherryfield; Johnny of Bridgewater; Wade (Stephenee) of Bakers Settlement; Rodney (Christine) of Pine Grove; nieces, Jacklyn and Sabrina; nephews, Jordan and Ryan; great nephew, Ashton; great niece, Peyton.
He was predeceased by his parents and stepmom, Lorna.
The family would like to thank Greg’s neighbours, Bill and Denise, all the paramedics, fire fighters and the Bridgewater police for all of your care and kind words during this difficult time. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater where online condolences may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com
