Passed away peacefully at The Village of Tansley Woods LTC on Sunday July 4, 2021 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Mary Beatrice (Nee Amell) for seventy years. Loving father of Tanya (Romen). Grandfather of Michael (Laura), Christine and Mark (Christina). Great Grandfather to Holden Graeme and Eleanor Mary. He was the son of Irwin and Mildred Patterson of Forester’s Falls, brother of Aileen Love, Roy, Harold, Jack, Gordon and Bill. Graeme was a kind and caring man and loved everyone – most recently the dedicated staff of Tansley Woods LTC who kept him safe and happy.
Graeme had a well-lived life, successful career with J.I. Case Co., and also many favourable adventures. He liked to dabble in real estate and moved 29 times. Wherever he went he worked hard to have beautiful gardens and was just the best gardener. He always had help from the grandchildren and showed them by example the importance of hard work. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date at Most Precious Blood Cemetery Calabogie, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Graeme to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Smiths Funeral Homes.
