LAFFIN, Glendon Grant
April 13, 1935 – December 11, 2021
Passed away peacefully, at age 86, at the Georgetown Hospital, on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Gelndon was born April 13, 1935 in Northfield Hants Co. Nova Scotia. Son of Addison and Evelyn (nee McKeil) Laffin. Gendon worked at Farmers Dairy as a milkman in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Later he worked at Maple Lodge Farms in Norval, Ontario as fleet trainer and fleet manager. Glendon loved hunting, fishing and driving tractor trailer. Gelndon is survived by his wife of 63 years Phyllis (nee Crossman) and sons; Norris Laffin of Milton, Ford Laffin of Acton and Russell Laffin of Acton. Proud grandfather of Ryan Hurren, Luke Hurren, Krystal Laffin and Chanel Laffin and 4 great grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his two sisters in law and brother in law James Crossman, many nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. Gelndon was predeceased by his only daughter Azelle Laffin Hurren, his brothers Clyde, Charles, Keith and Tedford Laffin, two sisters in law, two nephews, brother in law Joe Crossman, his mother in law Lillie Crossman and father in law Walter Crossman.
As per Glendon wishes there will be no funeral service.
Cremations has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
