It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert Angsanto Golamco at the age of 74 years on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Edmonton, Alberta.
He was the beloved husband of Teresita Margarita, who sadly passed in 2012. Gilbert was born on June 12, 1947 to Ramon and Louisa Golamco in Manila, Philippines.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Paul (Natasha), Mark (Alex), and Brian (Amber); 5 grandchildren Isla, Everly, Mila, Aria, Kona; 3 sisters Cynthia Yu (Danny), Grace Yu (Carlos), Bia Reyes (Chuck); brother, James Golamco; partner Clarissa Ong and her 4 children Cyril, Carmel, Clement, and Carl. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, his parents; brothers Franklin and Ramon Jr, and grandson Asher Golamco.
A Visitation will take place from 3 pm – 6 pm on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South, 4820 Meridian Street NW.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday July 19th, 2021, also at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South, followed by interment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
