Obituary of Geraldine Merlin Wambolt
Wambolt, Geraldine Merlin- 89, of Digby, the wife of the late James Roland Wambolt, passed away June 4, 2021 at Tideview Terrace, Digby. Born January 19, 1932, in Power Lot, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Jessie (Harlow) Clayton.
Geraldine was a stay at home mother and wife, who was an avid reader and knitter of dishcloths, and loved her flower gardens, and the wildlife that visited them. Her last few years were spent at Tideview Terrace, where she was loved by everyone there. She was a member of their special family, keeping everyone on their toes.
Geraldine is survived by children, Heather Parry (Richard), Brian (Catherine), Kathy Barr (Randy), Kevin (Donna), Michael; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James; and sister, Marilyn Fairn. Due to Covid restrictions, a private family interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in Geraldine’s memory may be made to Tideview Terrace. The family wishes to say a special thank you to the Staff of Tideview for the exceptional care their mother received during her time with them.
