Gerald ‘Jerry’ Casier June 2 2021

Obituary for Gerald ‘Jerry’ Casier
Son of Martha & Camille Casier and Paula & Eladore Doornaert. Predeceased by brother Jerome (Ruth) Doornaert; Brother of Jean (Alec) Fauteaux of Windsor; Husband of 56 years to Jean (MacDougall) Casier; Kind father of Barb (Philip) Davies of Holland Landing, Sue (Joseph) Berkvens of Wallaceburg and Paula Carlisle & Johnny Carlisle of Wallaceburg; Grandfather of Bailey, Josh, Abby, Adam, Anwyn and Hannah.
After hardworking careers in painting, maintenance, trucking, and cleaning, Jerry loved gardening with devoted animal companions following alongside him or treasured friendly neighbours stopping by the hedge. He held a deep appreciation for the endless delights of creation, from backyard birds and butterflies to heavenly northern lights. “What a Wonderful World” remained a favourite song.
You’re unforgettably in our hearts Jerry!
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. Matt. 10:29
