Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald “Gerry” Godin, 65, of Saint John. Born in Toronto, ON January 9, 1955; he was the son of the late Raymond and Rita (Roy) Godin. Gerry was a mason and worked for Strescon for over 30 years.
He is survived by his former spouse and friend Linda (Cormier) Godin of Dieppe; son Normand Godin (Micheline) and daughter Lisa Jesso (Jason) both of Saint John; two brothers Danny Godin (Renee) of Saint John and David Godin (Carol) of Milford, Mass; three sisters Raymonde Sullivan (Ken) of Saint John, Gisele Godin of Moncton and Rachelle Godin of Dieppe; seven grandchildren Samantha, Tiffany, Brittany, Jacob, Devin, Eric and Alicia; three great-grandchildren Brielle, Aria and Kiyan as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. “I have not left you. I am simply enjoying the next stage of my life, so please, do not cry. Rejoice in the fact that I am happy, remember that I will always love you and smile because one day we shall meet again.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) Due to the current pandemic a memorial will be held at a later date.
