SLADIC, George (Juraj)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of George, a loving Tata, Deda, Brother and Uncle on March 28, 2021 at the age of 83. Reunited with his beloved wife, Anka (1984). Loving and devoted father to MaryAnn Sladic and late husband Joe Kane (2010), and Robert Sladic. Cherished and awesome Deda to Jessica, Zachary and James. Dear brother to Marko Sladic and late wife Biserka (1994), Iva Sladic (1997) and surviving wife Darinka, and predeceased by brother, Mato Sladic, and sisters, Dora Novosel, Marija Tomicic and Kata Frketic. George is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada and Croatia. He was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada after many years of dedicated service and a member of Unifor Local 444 and St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at WRH, Metropolitan Campus for their compassionate care provided to George. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 11am in the Chapel. Reservations and masks are required to attend Visitation and Funeral Service. Please call Windsor Chapel at 519-253-7234 between the hours of 8:30am – 4pm., to secure your reservation.
