George Moorcroft March 18th 1932 November 9th 2021

In his 90th year, following a long illness, George Moorcroft went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on November 9, 2021. Predeceased and now reunited with his wife Joan (2018) and son Drew (1976), George is survived by his loving daughter Linda Moorcroft of Sarnia and sister-in-law Evangeline Laird of Cambridge. George was one of 10 siblings and is survived by his sisters Betty, Alma, Maureen, June, Pauline, and Jennifer. He was predeceased by his brothers Tommy and Jack and sister Cecilia. He will be deeply missed by many nephews and nieces and loved ones in Northern Ireland. He will be lovingly remembered by his special nephew Bert Walls and his family and by his special nieces Jewel, Gwen and Angela and their families. We wish to express our gratitude to Dr. Wm Gannon, his longtime family physician, Dr. Kim, his palliative care doctor and the staff of Bayshore and VON for their care in his final weeks. We also want to thank Tammy deVulgt for her friendship and care for Dad in his latter years. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 15th at 2:00 pm with visitation immediately before the service at 12:00 – 1:30 pm at Huron Baptist Church, 1285 Michigan Ave. Sarnia, ON.
