Suddenly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at the age of 81 years. George Sayer of Pembroke, beloved husband of Judy Sayer (nee Madore). Loved and cherished father of Wendy Gail Sayer-Wilkinson (Brian), Pembroke, Rene Sayer, Cumberland and Robert Timmons, Nova Scotia. Loving grandfather to Crystal Lynn Schroeder (Russ), Pembroke, April Anne, Petawawa and Brayden and great grandchildren Justin Morgan, Jaxin, Gabriel and Zachary. Dear brother of Arthur Sayer (late Joan), Helen Dundas (David) and the late Robert Sayer. Brother-in-law to Anna Clair Ripley, James Madore (Darlene), Fred Madore (Teresa), Bruce Madore (Jeanne), Brian Madore (Marilyn) and the late Bob Madore, late Marilyn Green (late Jack), and late Sonny Madore (late Moira). Brother-in-law of Narda Madore. George will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews.
What made George the happiest, was the time he spent and was surrounded by his family.
Respecting George’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for George will be held at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke in the near future and will be announced. In memory of George donations to St. Joseph’s Food Bank or CHEO, would be appreciated.
