FAUTEUX, Gary Wayne
July 16, 1948 – June 15, 2021
It is with sad hearts we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Gary on June 15, 2021 at 72 years of age.
Beloved husband and best friend of Carol (nee Tessier) for 52 years.
Loving dad of Angie (Dave) Payette and Caron (Phil) Landry.
Proud Pa of Alex and Maddie Landry.
Survived by his siblings Ron (Connie) Fauteux and Barb Fauteux (Rollie Cookson) and his sisters-in law Linda (Mike) Lavigne and Denise (Roy) Casagrande and his late brother-in-law Terry Tessier.
Gary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gary was born in Windsor, Ontario to the late Denis and Francis Fauteux.
Gary was one of the past owners of Checker Flag Raceway, Fauteux Building Supplies, and E-Z-Y Way Self Storage.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and boater and loved his winters in Florida with Carol.
Memorial Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 1-5pm and 7-9pm. Reservations are required to attend the Memorial visitation. Please call Windsor Chapel at 519.253.7234 between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm. A Private family interment will take place on Friday morning.
