Obituary for
Gaetanne Lane (Côté)
The family announces with profound sadness her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of the late John Lane (1999) and dear partner of late Guy Rondeau (2013). Cherished twin sister of Bob Ethier aka ‘’Pitou’’ who served 25 years in the military and Gina Côté (Dr. Steve Cohen). Gaetanne will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and Kim Hill and family. Also left to mourn is her best buddy Cindy Hall (Jim), her Foleyet friends and her Tim Horton’s friends of Sudbury. Gaetanne is predeceased by her parents Robert (1977) and Georgette (2015) Côté and her sisters Denise Dulac (2020) (Phillipe) and Ginette Desrochers (2017)(Brian Sawyer). The family would like to thank the nurses at the TDH Hospice for their care and compassion and thank you to Dr. Schwertfeger.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest with her husband John in her hometown, of Foleyet. Remembrance donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
