Robinson, Françoise Ida [nee Bouffard] – Robinson, Françoise Ida [nee Bouffard] – It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Mrs. Françoise Robinson on Sunday May 9, 2021 at the age of 74 years. She died at the Temiskaming Hospital with her family by her side.
Born in Saint-Bruno-de-Guigues on April 15, 1947, she is the daughter of the late Alfred Bouffard and the late Marie Blanche Paquin. Françoise was an extremely caring and ambitious daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She is known to many for her numerous years as the secretary of École Catholique St. Michel where she was true to her welcoming nature, her maternal instinct and her desire to please each and every one who had the honor of crossing her path.
In her spare time, Françoise enjoyed ice fishing, gardening, berry picking, cooking, baking sweets for her beloved family, but most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her precious grandchildren. Her welcoming home was truly conducive to family gatherings.
Françoise is survived by her husband of 52 years Roger Robinson; their daughters; Nancy [Michael Lessard], Lyne [Richard Dalpé] and Dyna [Kelly McDonald]. Cherished grandmother of Brendan, Kody, Sophie, Eva, Alyson, Stephany and Alexia; beloved sister of the late Gilles Bouffard, of Jacqueline Bouffard, of Jean- Jacques Bouffard [late Diane Proulx], of the late Liette Bouffard, of the late Gilbert Bouffard [Jocelyne Granger], of Jean-Claude Bouffard [Jacinthe Perron], of Jacynthe Bouffard [Yvon Laurin] and Luc Bouffard [Helen Catacutan]. Françoise also leaves behind several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.
The cremation took place at Lakeview Crematorium in Haileybury. A private memorial mass will be held at Ste-Croix Church, Haileybury. Memorial contributions to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation [421 Shepherdson Street, New Liskeard, ON, P0J 1P0] or Ste-Croix Parish in Haileybury will be greatly appreciated.
