Francis Klyne December 26th 2021

Francis Klyne was born on June 10, 1941 and passed away on December 26, 2021 in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.
He was predeceased by his father Vincent Klyne; mother Julia Klyne; his bothers Bill, Alec, Joe and Jim; his sisters Mary and Loretta. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Elaine Klyne; sons Anthony and Clinton.
Francis was born in Balcarres, Saskatchewan. In 1958 he came to the Lestock, Saskatchewan area and worked for Kornum Water Wells. In 1971 he married the love of his life Elaine Nault. In 1974 he purchased the drilling company and drilled water wells until 2002 when he semi-retired. He volunteered on many committees in the village over the years. He became the mayor in 2000 and held that role until his death.
Due to the situation his wishes are to have a family service at a later date.

  1. I’m so so sad Uncle Francis. You were one of my favourite Uncles. Who’s going to do the special little hand shake with me now. Right now I’m remembering all the time we’d leave your place & you’d say “Oh Renée come here” & I’d run back to the house only for you to say “How far would you of been if I wouldn’t of called you” 💕 I’m heartbroken, but find comfort knowing your no longer suffering 💕
