Frances Katherine Matheson – 90, Truro
It is with great sadness that the family of Frances Katherine Matheson (nee McLean), age 90 announce her passing on April 15, 2020 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.
Born February 26, 1930 in Dean Settlement but spent most of her adult life in East Earltown and Truro.
Survived by children, Barbara Shacklock (Peter pre-deceased), Halifax, Paulette Edwards (Joe), Surrey BC, Gary Matheson, Toronto and Kevin Matheson (Debbie), Picton, ON; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Cheryl Fletcher, Truro and sister in-law, Jean McLean.
Predeceased by Parents, Calvin McLean of Truro and Eva Jane Stewart (nee Cox) of Middle Musquodoboit; husband, Lloyd Alexander Matheson of East Earltown; brothers, Milton, Eric, Carmen and sisters, Betty (Bill Nowoselski), Mississauga, ON, Connie (Walter McNutt), Truro
She will be greatly missed by family and friends but always loved and in our hearts forever.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St. Truro.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11am in Colchester Community Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Campbell officiating.
