Obituary of Frances Doreen McLean
Passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her home in Oshawa with family by her side, at age 74. Frances (nee Blackburn), mother of Linda Dianne, Ken of Pickering, Beverly (Murray Duke) of Lindsay, and Mary (Paul Kennedy) of Oshawa. Grandmother of Amanda, Christopher, Jessica, Kodie, and Russel and great grandmother of Maxine, Rhiannon, Bella, Lauren and Declan. Sister of Violet Parcells (deceased) and stepsister of Alberta Alexander and Alfred Merritt (deceased). Special friend and companion of Jack Sayeau. Dear friend of Mary Molloy of Oshawa and the late Linda Goslin, Susan Willcox and Larry Kimmerly.
The family of Frances McLean will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Thursday, September 16th 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. In accordance with the directives provided by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario please contact the funeral home between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to schedule your visitation appointment. Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory. A private family service will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Interment St. John Cemetery, Brock Township.
