Forrest “Sandy Bain Thursday September 9th 2021

Forrest “Sandy” Bain of Hebron passed away September 9th, 2021 in hospital surrounded by his family. He was born to parents Forrest and Muriel Bain on March 14th, 1945 in Shelburne NS.
Sandy lived life on his terms, said and did things his way. He was known for his jokes and endless advice, whether you wanted to hear it or not. He loved the outdoors, especially when he was in the woods using his power-saw. But the thing he loved most in his life was his beloved dog Charlie. They were inseparable. Wherever Sandy was, Charlie was always at his side. It truly was love at first sight when he got Charlie.
He is survived by his wife Gail, son Howard (Merilee) Bain, daughters Valerie and Rose Bain, grandchildren Cheyanne Marie and children, Cody (Lisa) Saulnier, Kelsey Saulnier, Emma Hersey and his “adopted” granddaughter Jessie d’Entremont. His great grandsons Riley & Jacob Saulnier, great granddaughter Olivea Clements and great grand baby on the way, as well as his sisters Joan Bain and Janet Dunn.
Cremation has taken care under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Online condolences may be sent to sweenys@sweenysfuneralhome.net, or you may sign the guestbook at www.sweenysfuneralhome.net.
