Emery Caissie
1935-2021
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB- Emery Caissie, 85, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent
Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Monday, June 7th,
2021. Born in Rogersville, he was the son of the late Belonie and
Justine (Arseneault) Caissie. Emery was a jack of all trades. Before
retiring, he worked as a lumberjack, taxi driver and carpenter, as
well as many other jobs.
Emery leaves to mourn his two daughters, Lise Caissie-Doiron
(Clorice) of Acadieville and Paula Caissie of St-Louis; six sons,
Gilles (Simonne) of Acadieville, Marc (Linda) of St. Charles, Jacques
(Gisèle) of St. Charles, Rénald (Giselle) of St.
Louis, Jean-Guy (Maria) of Rogersville and Paul (Monique) of Aldouane;
as well as his 13 grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.
Emery will also be sadly missed by his five sisters,
Geraldine Caissie (late André) of Waltham, MA, Maria
Thibodeau (late Alfred) of St. Louis, Andréa Roy (late
Edouard) of Rogersville, Francine Despres (late Armand) of Shediac and
Germaine Richard (Léo-Paul) of St. Antoine; four brothers,
Sylvain (Claire) of Sturbridge, MA, Clovis (Lydia) of Saint John,
Raymond (Domine) of Marlborough, MA and Jean (Yvonne) of Acadieville;
as well as by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Emery was predeceased by his wife,
Laudianne (LeBlanc) Caissie and two sisters,
Thérèse Hachey and Rosa Dallard
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Memorial
Home, St-Louis on Tuesday from 7-9pm only. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 at
11:00am, Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church,
St. Louis.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time
will be allowed in the funeral home and the maximum allowed in the
church for the funeral will be 90 people. Masks are mandatory and we
ask that social distancing be respected.
